HOW TO REACH

 

Tiruchirappalli is situated on the banks of the river Kaveri situated in the middle of Tamil Nadu. The city is known for its temple architecture, educational institutions, industries, cigars and cheroots. Amongst handicraft are brassware, handloom textiles, pith models of temples and Rock Fort. It is shortly called as "Tiruchi" or "Trichy". Trichy is the district headquarters of the district of Tiruchirappalli and has its name for tourist attraction. The fourth largest city of the state is a thriving commercial centre. Tiruchi itself is an industrial town, where a number of industries flourish.  An International Airport also available at Tiruchirappalli and the city is 380 km away from the city of Chennai. The delegates coming from abroad are advised to take flight to Chennai International Airport; and domestic air service to Tiruchirappalli. You can also reach by bus/cab/train to Tiruchirappalli. The travel time is about 1-2 hours from Chennai by air. The conference secretariat will operate shuttle service from Tiruchirappalli Airport to the Hotels/University campus on 17th to 21th February, 2013.
